Honey Italian Easy Chicken Recipe (only 3 Ingredients!)
This super easy honey Italian chicken recipe will be a family hit! Save this recipe for those busy nights when there isn’t a lot of time to prep or fuss in the kitchen.

In my house we LOVE chicken so I’m always trying different ways to prepare it so we are stuck with the same old recipes every week.
Most Honey Italian Chicken recipes require hours of marinating and in a perfect world, I’d actually remember to marinate the night before! I work full-time and also keep my son home with me full-time so starting my meal prep the day before is usually the last thing on my mind at the end of the day.
The key to making this honey Italian easy chicken is cooking the chicken in the marinade. The marinade turns into a sweet and savory sticky glaze that is just…*chef’s kiss*!
Even my picky toddler loves it when this easy chicken recipe is on the menu.
What should you season the Honey Italian Easy Chicken recipe with?
I love to keep my recipes simple because I know how exhausting it can be to plan and cook dinner night after night as a working mom, but seasonings should be a given when any meat is involved.
Don’t get me wrong, this recipe can stand on its own with just the Italian dressing and honey mixture but try seasoning your chicken with the recommendations below to give it that extra oomph:
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic Powder
That’s it! Just those three seasons will really take your chicken up a notch. If you happen to have any minced garlic in a jar handy, you can add a bit of olive oil to the skillet and throw in the minced garlic until it’s fragrant instead of using the garlic powder.
